Terms of Service

1. Parties & Operator

These Terms of Service constitute an agreement between you and Nebula Craft Design Ltd (Company No. 17180534), registered in England & Wales at 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ, United Kingdom.

Midas Journal and Midas Quant are product and brand names developed and operated by Nebula Craft Design Ltd.

2. Apple App Store Licence Relationship

Your licence to download and use the Midas Journal application on iOS is subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) as set out by Apple, unless a custom licence is expressly provided by Apple in App Store Connect.

These Midas Terms supplement the applicable Apple App Store licence and govern Midas-specific services, data handling, support, and subscription features. Nothing in these Terms is intended to contradict or override Apple's standard licence terms where prohibited by Apple.

3. Purpose of Midas Journal

Midas Journal is a personal record-keeping, journal logging, and retrospective analytical utility designed to help traders organize historical trade notes, emotional mistake tags, and review cadences.

4. Disclaimer of Financial Advice

Nebula Craft Design Ltd is not an investment advisor, financial advisor, broker-dealer, or commodity trading advisor. Midas Journal does not provide investment advice, trading signals, financial planning, or tax guidance.

All analytics, metrics, drawdown stats, profit factors, and expectancy values calculated within the app are strictly retrospective mathematical summaries of user-entered data and do not predict future market outcomes.

5. No Brokerage, Custody, or Execution

Midas Journal does not hold customer funds, execute financial trades, route market orders, or connect to brokerage trading accounts. You do not provide broker login credentials or API keys to Midas Journal.

6. User Responsibilities & Backups

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of data entered into the application, your trading decisions, and maintaining periodic backups of your journal using the provided JSON and CSV export tools under Account > iCloud & Data.

7. Subscriptions & Apple Billing

Midas Journal offers core journaling features free of charge and optional subscription access to Midas Premium for multi-profile support and advanced analytics.

All subscription transactions, renewals, price displays in your local currency, and billing are handled directly by Apple through your Apple ID account. You may manage, change, or cancel subscriptions at any time in iOS Settings > Subscriptions.

8. Account Deletion & Subscriptions

Deleting your Midas Account inside the app (under Account > Danger Zone > Delete Midas Account) removes cloud identity mappings and CloudKit records, but does NOT automatically cancel active Apple App Store subscriptions. Subscriptions must be cancelled separately through Apple ID settings.

9. Intellectual Property

The software, design, branding, and text associated with Midas Journal are owned by or licensed to Nebula Craft Design Ltd. Third-party open-source components and Apple design resources are acknowledged under their respective licences.

10. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so under applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nebula Craft Design Ltd shall not be liable for any trading losses, indirect or consequential damages, loss of profits, or data loss arising from your use of the application or reliance on calculated historical figures.
