In-App Guides & Navigation

Restoring Purchases

Account > Premium & Limits > Restore Purchases

If you reinstalled Midas Journal or transferred to a new iPhone, navigate to Account > Premium & Limits > Restore Purchases. Ensure you are signed into the same Apple ID used to purchase the subscription.

Managing Subscriptions

Account > Premium & Limits > Manage Subscription

To upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your Midas Premium subscription, tap Manage Subscription or open your iPhone Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions. All billing and cancellations are handled securely by Apple.

iCloud Sync Troubleshooting

Account > iCloud & Data > Sync status / Sync Now

iCloud sync uses your private Apple iCloud container. To sync between devices: (1) sign into the same Apple ID on both devices, (2) enable iCloud Drive in iOS Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud, and (3) verify Midas Journal is enabled under Apps Using iCloud.

Manual Backup & Restore (JSON)

Account > iCloud & Data > Backup Data / Restore Backup

Export a complete JSON backup of your journal at any time under Backup Data. To restore on another device, use Restore Backup and select your saved JSON file.

CSV Import & Export

Account > iCloud & Data > Import Trades / Export CSV

Export your trade history as a standard CSV spreadsheet or import historical records from supported formats directly within the iCloud & Data menu.

Trading Routine & On-Device Reminders

Account > Trading Routine

Configure your active trading days, session hours, and local preparation/review reminders. If reminders do not appear, ensure notifications are enabled in iOS Settings > Midas Journal > Notifications.

Deleting a Midas Account

Account > Danger Zone > Delete Midas Account

If you signed in with Apple, you can delete your Midas Account under Account > Danger Zone > Delete Midas Account. This removes your cloud identity and RevenueCat customer mapping. Note: Account deletion does NOT cancel active App Store subscriptions; subscriptions must be cancelled through iOS Settings > Subscriptions.
